I would like to show you what we do and get to know your opinions - it may help us in our work...
A few months ago we started working on the game (basically a few games) and the entire Star Scrappers universe - each month and week our work accelerate, for now we don't have any complete products (so, don't worry) - but we created already a working prototype of card game (if everything goes our way [we seriously think about kickstarter campain], next year you will be able to play in the final version) and a board game (work still in progress) ...
There is also the other side of the project - Star Scrappers Miniatures... Perhaps more important for you
We want to create a miniature game - some characters/minis already exist (in the coming weeks will also be few more) which, we hope, faithfully reflect the atmosphere of the universe.
To show you the visual design and same figures (eventually all will be in 28mm scale; currently three of them are also available in 54mm). Do you like it?
..and some cards from Star Scrappers Card Game:
You can find more stuff (info and pictures) on our FB profiles (Hexy; Star Scrappers).
Please - do not treat this post in terms of spam! We started just recently, so your feedback is important to us.
(just like you "likes" on our facebook profiles

A lot of people says something like that
There will be 5-6 miniatures for each faction -or a small team, if you want...
We created six factions:
Biosses - (very technological fraction; cyborgs)
Hy'Drans - (underwater civilization of cosmic "fish-people" )
Terronss - the People the Third Planet of Sol star; but in the pirate-adventurous version)
Weedlocks - race of sentient plants
Minegglers - a very intelligent breed of thinkers, humanoid (though not always), live crystals
Metanels - (my best) race of rusty, patched robots
We hope that you will love them all!
Look at https://www.facebook.com/StarScrappers/photos_stream - where you can find more of concept (and actual) arts
And our new mini (I think it will be ready within 3-4 weeks) - Mining Mech (can be used by any faction):

Beyond Mining Mech miniature there will be three new figures soon (all in 28mm) - Gustlick, Lead Driller from Terrons faction (we wrote about it on our blog and fb) and two 'robots' for Metanels faction (elements of one you can see below):
You can expect them within a few weeks (probably not before Christmas, but soon after)...

Oh man, when might these two be available? I love the look of them!
Also, if you want you can make a post in the News & Rumors section of Dakka to announce these things, or I can move this thread there for you, just let me know (it gets a little more traffic and we welcome new companies to show off their stuff there!).

If you would be so nice...
Ok - both of them exist (now only in 54mm scale, but after chritmas [early January] there will be available versions in 28mm).
You can find them in our Hexy-Shop Automatically Appended Next Post: If you would be so nice...

And one more miniature preview for Christmas
Last time I mentioned that we will have some new Metals and Terrons miniatures (robots and humans from the Star Scrappers universe) at the beginning of the year - it's a tame to show you some other races.
This time it is representative of an underwater race Hy'Drans - think of him as a leader of this faction.
Meet powerful Shu'War!
And - some design / art materials:

A few posts above you can see the projects - and below you have the final version of Mining Mech?
We expect him soon - in a matter of weeks - obviously on a scale 28mm!
Happy New Year for all of you - wishes Hexy Team!

Looks good, one of the nicer "walker mecha" figures I've seen. I assume the pilot is a separate piece?
Are those ball & socket joints on the shoulders? So the arms should be pretty much completely pose-able?

Yes - pilot is a separate element. Mining Mech is (plots speaking) artifact - it is not assigned to any particular faction and can be used by all.
(I think I understand what you're thinking)
The arms can be set in different positions - so you can choose your own - but the pilot miniature figure is not modified.
(So if you use the same pilot mini and change the setting of Mecha arms.... - remember that this machine is basically the exoskeleton!

That's great. So essentially to can pose the mech to match the pose of any mini you use. That's very cool.

Guys!
I once wrote about our Star Scrappers project - mostly about miniatures.
Our universe has grown tremendously in the last few months.
Star Scrappers: Battledrill skirmish miniatures game we will give to your hands later this year - but tomorrow...
Tomorrow is our first Kickstarter campaign Star Scrappers: Cave-In!
I hope you will find a moment to take a look at this project. Because funding, it will enable us to release new miniatures and our skirmish game faster.
So, take a look at:
