Hello all,

I'm a big fan of the Quartermaster iOS app for keeping track of 40k army lists. I was sitting here thinking that it would be awesome to have the same functionality available for Maelstrom's Edge. So, I started tinkering.

Currently, these files aren't available to the general public and may never be. I kind of want to get Spiral Arms Studios' input here. Is this something you guys would smile on, or frown on? To the greater community as a whole... is this something you think you'd use? I'll definitely finish the files for personal use and can make them available to the general public if it's something that's kosher and wanted.

First picture shows a couple of units I threw in as a test. The second shows the Karist Troopers unit detail and then finally the Quintarch's detail.

Awesome We are absolutely in favour! Let us know if there are any image assets or anything like that which we can help out with!

We are planning a force builder on the medge website at some point, but it probably wont be coming until later in the year as we have a million and one other things to do first, so this is very much appreciated!

Excellent! In that case, I'll finish up the files and get in touch with the Quartermaster people. If they don't want to host them directly, I can always put them up on my blog, or give them to you to put on the website.

Ask this guy for his source code!
It's simply the best squad builder I've ever used.

Panic...

Awesome! Too bad I don't have an iphone. I'm working on making a Battlescribe data file, but it's slow going. I've got the Journeyman Bot Handler and the Contract Engineers done. The "hard" part (setting up the game system and creating the profile types) is done. I just have to add in the rest of the units, and tweak some unit validation (i.e. number of HQ, Hammer, Anvil, or Vanguard units cannot outnumber the number of core units).

Zigguratt, I'm also working on Battlescribe files, and in fact, I've just got them finished. I'm working on getting them on the battlescribedata.appspot site as we speak. I can send you my files if you like to have a look.

Awesome!

I'll just keep an eye out for the files on the battlescribedata site.

Thanks for doing all the hard work!

So a while back when the rules pdf were released, I created my own battlescribe files. The only thing I'm not happy with is detachment set-up, as depending on your Command unit, creates different selection options.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

I downloaded the MEdge Battlescribe files. Looks good! (I'm assuming they're yours.)

I like how you did the Epirian detachments (Journeyman command vs. Command Scarecrow) as separate, I was having trouble making them gel in one cohesive list. Your way is much smoother than what I was trying to do.

Also, I really like the Rules Summary detachment. That's a really smart idea.

Great work!
