I've bought BAC and decided to half it between a white scars and alpha legion army. Took me a while to get used to painting the scars and avoiding the multilayer technique for white and decided to prime base and shadow using washes. Attempted some battle damage as well. Ide love some feedback.

Started the alphas using the Forge world recipe. Ended up with a different paint scheme to be honest but I'm happy enough with it.

I like the weathered look on the white, maybe age the red as it seems very "new" compared to the rest of the models.

Lookin' good. I like the weathering on the first marine, very nice. I think it adds something particularly for the brighter, "cleaner" coloured schemes (like White Scars and Imperial Fists). I guess in my head they'd be that much harder to keep pristine, so seeing them weathered looks "right"... or something.

Can't wait to see how you get on with Alpha Legion. I want to paint up a squad of them (plus the FW contemptor) just because how good the models look and how sweet the paint scheme is on them.

Homebrew Imperial Guard: 1222nd Etrurian Lancers (Winged); Special Air-Assault Brigade (SAAB)
Homebrew Chaos: The Black Suns; A Medrengard Militia (think Iron Warriors-centric Blood Pact/Sons of Sek)
