Adding an Inquisitor to my Eldar/GK list. My GKs are modeled as Eldar, so will the Inquisitor. Any ideas for Eldar-appropriate Servo Skulls
Preferably not actual skulls, but drones of some kind, or "familiars" that are psychically controlled.

I have a few High Elf bits and can add little metal (wraith-bone?) bird wings attached to some sort of Wraith-drone powered by a spirit stone.
Or I have some Wood Elf Owls that could be some sort of alien birds that the Eldar found and bred from the Maiden worlds to be psychically connected to their handler (the Inquisitor).

Hmm, interesting concept.

I might take one of the wraith-vane things, like from the back of a wraithguard, or some of the vehicle accessories, and put it on a large gem/soulstone. Mount it on a flying stem.

If you wanted to make it more tech-y, put little thrusters on it to keep it airborne.

Just some random thoughts.

I would go for a animal type as eldar 'skulls'. If you could, had the money/time, the old Grinx models, a large physic cat from back in the day. I believe that Reaper makes one or two large feline models. Guess I see Eldar as more cat people then dog. Birds I also could see, owls or raptors.

I use three Mordhiem hounds with some IG troops as handlers for my 'skulls', as I'm not really a fan of the models themselves.

Oh wow, I forgot about the Lynx thing. Never knew it was called a Grinx. I just googled it and it turns out that even psychic Inquisitors seek these out. Familiars it is! Thanx
I will do this with the Owl models that I own since I have plenty and my Eldar have a Phoenix theme.

What color scheme would look good? You can see my army paint scheme in the Eldar link in my Sig and if you look close enough, some Pics already have an alien Owl on my display board.
Should I stick with the purple that I already have, or go with something different, like Red, Yellow and/or Orange. I probably won't use browns since I want them to look alien.

They look really great, and the Dark Elf/Eldar too. Just to know, where did you get those Horus/Ra-style statues? The ones the owls are standing on.
