In some ways the game is dead and I don't want to play but every so often I just have an urge to play. If anybody wants to play some games 'universal battle' is an online site which allows you to play the game (mostly warhammer fantasy) virtually. If anybody wants you can play with me on there. My name there is the same as my name here. Hope to see some people giving it a shot and playing some games.

Oh i had no idea askaval would actually check this thread. I might try a game this weekend. Pretty much moved on to 40k by now since i couldn't get a game of Fantasy. I hear a bunch play 9th at a fairly nearby LGS.

I might try but no promises. I need to really refresh my knowledge of 8th. Skaven even with their FAQ had rules with more holes than swiss cheese. I could also do vampire counts. Was seriously hoping to start them before GW just murdered the whole universe. I even have the little magic cards with spell descriptions.

we can go as fast or as slow as you like, I've played with almost all the armies with the exception of Skaven, so can't really help you ther, but I have tried to kkep up with the rules with an occasional game here and there, luck permitting.

I might have availability tonight (Tuesday) but earlier than 8pm though. 6pm? If not, maybe later this week.

no worries... I am happy to begin with a few training games, just like LiveWaaaagh did yesterday (how did that go btw?)!

well worth the investment if we can make this a regular thing... the only problem will be getting schedules to sync.

Great game! We had to call it at turn 4 because of time and family aggro - but it was fun. Points usggested a Dwarf victory , but a strong magic phase with gelt and no dispel might have changed things.
