So in the process choosing projects beyond my capacity to do, I've decided to fancily base my armies. A while past to polish off my DE harvester kitbash I bought a base that was grass and some jack-o-lanterns, like in a farmers field or a backyard pumpkin patch. Some x-files and a couple good creepy past later I had the idea to model my Dark Eldar in the process of a splinter raid on suburbia. My concept being; all those modern day horrors stories but with the Dark Eldar pulling the strings. Alien abductions, slenderman grotesques and what not.

So with that long rambling introduction do any of you have where I could get 20th century civilians or miniatures in this kind of genera? Joe blow to watch raider bound commorites to dangle marionette Greys in front of, Jane average feeling the legs of my DE Revenant and wondering at the weird trees, children for the Pain engines to put into sacks so on and so forth. The sections of the building that would be involved I think would be easy enough, my razorwing flying over a house cutaway showing a wrack hiding under a child's bed etc. Any ideas you guys have would be great.

I think your first go-to should be Hasslefree miniatures. They have a good selection of civies and some children.

From there it depends on look. The Zombie Survivor range of WargamesFactory/Warlord Games, WHF Empire minis...
