Hello all, I've recently picked up on reading "Knee Deep in the Dead" by the dude with no vowels in his name along with playing Brutal Doom and looking at how awesome the new title looks. I know Reaper, God rest their zombie bones, used to have some of the most badass looking models I've seen but those are OOP along with the $200 re-release in pewter. I think that the board game that had some pretty good looking dudes in it got taken off Amazon, so I'm out of official options. Is there a company that sells miniatures that look like or could be converted to Doom characters (Doom Guy of course, Imps, Pinkies, Zombies, Cacodemons, etc.)? I'm completely willing to do my own conversions or look at conversion bits for other figures. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (I know there's a thread for miniature companies, but they're aimed more at replacing Warhammer dudes.)

I can't help you in the mini quest, but I can say don't both going any further in the book series. The second book was ok, but the third and fourth totally go off the reservation. Granted, I think it must have been 20 or so years ago I read them, but I don't recall the latter books being very "DOOM", and actually stray into silly/bad territory.

space marine scouts make cool doom guys, for barons of hell/cyberdemons you can convert some of the bloodthirsters. have a trawl through the chaos range.. theres plenty of stuff to give your models a doom twist.
as a side note i have 3 of those reaper models. they do cost an arm and a leg though..seen the cyber demon on ebay for $300!

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

Reaper do an eye-beast which is kind of like one of the doom monsters: https://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/eye%20beast/latest/77043

They also do a couple of "cyborg" models which could be converted... https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/cyborg
