Weird question! I would use it to prime and base coat minatures. Specifically, ones I was going to mainly paint red.

I've got the Machanicus Standard Grey spray and use it for my grey marines. Saves time.

The finish is much more "matt" than a brush - it's quite a flat effect.

In terms of HOW you use it... shake it a lot. For literally 3-5 minutes. That feels like a long time when you are noislily shaking a can but the paint needs to be mixed.

Don't use it in the rain or when it's damp outside. Make sure you use it a well ventilated space.

Just... read the label on the can rather than just spraying it and being upset with the poor results.
