greetings, I am wondering what 'power weapons' others choose when building their death company? thanks.

One death company model with power fist and a boltgun for every 5 marine in a DC unit. DC are relentless and PF is specialist weapon so no attack bonus for having BP. Others regular CC&BP. Hold them back and let the regular DC take the possible wounds while charging.

Depends on what you fight and the size of your DC. Power swords let you kill MEQ easily. Thunder Hammers or Power Fists let you kill bigger things though. With a 15 man I'd probably do 2-3 TH/PF or power sword to avoid ridiculous point inflation. I'd keep everything CC and bolt pistols though regardless.

Yeah, bolt pistols all the way. All other pistols are overpriced for how short their range is.

I usually throw a power sword and a thunder hammer with 5 chainsword/bolt pistol meatshields. Power sword guarantees some kills against MEQ, TH can take on MCs, and the rest of the squad is capable of eating anything else. The trick is getting them into a combat they don't automatically win... if they can stay locked for your opponents turn they can't get shot at (and they draw a ton of fire in my experience).
