for your sword brother. Either give him the powerfist or the plasma pistol, but not both. specialist weapon means that he gets no extra attack from having a pistol with the fist and it makes him a huge investment for a 1 wound model. Try changing the pistol to a combi melta, also change the plasmagun to a meltagun. plasma is rapid fire which means no charging after shooting, melta is assault, so blow up a trasnsport and then charge the unit inside after shooting. also see if you can shave enough points to buy your second squad a razorback with las-plas, it will compliment your missle, plas giving you a devastator-light type squad. either that or switch their loadout to heavybolter/flamer, take a heavy bolter razorback and use them as mobile fire support as you will already have your anti-tank coverd with the meltas and grav centurions.

I might even suggest dropping the gav centurions for a grav devastator squad, centurions work best when backed up by a librarian. No librarians allowed for black templars, so take a dev squad and a droppod and then they get the option to overwatch if they get charged.

As far as bringing your list up to 1500, it really depends on what your meta is all about. easy choices are landspeeders or stormtalons if you are facing flyers. Helbrecht would not be a bad choice to join your big crusader squad. He brings another combi melta and is a pretty solid combat character. Also assault squads are not a terrible choice for templars due to their special rules of getting rage if a dude dies.

If you are going to go with Power Fist (remembering that your sword brother will be the one facing challenges and therefore striking LAST) consider a combi-weapon in place of the plasma pistol, as Renesco rightly pointed out the Power Fist is a specialist weapon.

Also consider getting a transport for your second crusader squad. In 1000 points games bodies count and your second squad is in the open. Try and find points for a razorback or rhino so they can either shelter behind the razorback or fire from inside the rhino.
I see i'm repeating what Renesco said lol

Welcome to playing Space Marines, and particularly Black Templars! They can be a very tricky but flavorful army to play.

I like that you're using the Crusader Squads in LRCs and Chaplains!

So, that being said, I'd probably dedicate them to cc, particularly against hordes or overwhelming MSU tough enemies... but just remember that they probably will NOT be effective at bringing down large things like a Knight or a Wraighknight, etc.

So, I would take a melta gun, power axe, a power axe on the sword brother (and a bolt pistol), ccw and bolt pistols on the rest of the neophytes, and try to get as many neophytes as can fit in the transport. If you can get another character in here at larger point games to take challenges, etc. that could be really good.

The Grav Cents are a wonderful unit, just put them in a fast attack drop pod. Always take the omniscope for the splitfire and nightvision. Always. I like hurricane bolters on them to combat xenos gribblies, plus they're free.

In this list, with them dropping in alone though, you may be isolating them to just get killed... perhaps give the other Crusader squad a pod so that they can come in on an objective and hold it turn 1, and the cents can come in later when the LRC is up in the enemy lines for support
