Never been good with army lists that are both fun, and mildly competitive. I only really plan on doing casual tournaments, and fun games. Personally i believe it brings a large degree of stratagy to the table. Let me know what you think, comments and criticism are welcome!

Well that's it. I feel it packs a decent amount of bodies, with an assload of varied fure power. The idea is to have th techmarine bolster whatever piece of terrain that hopefully an objective is in, and sit the sniper scouts in there for a nice cover save, whilst dropping sniper fire/krak missles.
Combat squad the tact squad, and have the sergeant/plasma gunner half walk towards objectives, and just distract the enemy.
The land speeder scouts are meant to infiltrate close to the enemy, lay down a ton of pressure, pop some vehichles, or mulch hordes with the hellfire rounds. A secondary use would be to "redirect" enemy units with them.
The iron clads and sternguard, much like the scouts, lay diwn some heavy pressure. Nuff said.
Lastly the deredeo will sit back, pumping awesome firepower into the enemies forces. I have about 700pts if the current force, plus other units that arent in the list, and the deredeo always out does itself. The autocannon mulches light and medium vehichles, whilst the aiolos drops marines like flies. Highly recommend.

Mind the typos, big thumbs on a small touch screen.

I think you need to go read the codex on the tac squad. 5 or less and you can only take 1 heavy or spec weapon.

at the current time I don't see a lot of dreads that are in competitive market. I personally love dreads however for the point you can bring something with more utility.

Thats 10 guys in the tact squad, hence the points. But i can see how that could be mistaken lol

I've had some decent success with the dreads lately, they were smaller point games, usually 1250, and the dreads walked up the board, but they always dish out some damage.

Looks fun.

As a note: (With the exception of meta formations like the Gladius) a unit can only be in one formation/detachment. So it looks like your list is built on a CAD and 10th company formation. But only the one tac squad is in the CAD, and you need 2 troop picks. The quick fix is to swap one of the scout squads over. The hard part would be remembering which one is getting what rules. Optionally, split the tacs into 2x5 man squads.

Not a huge fan of plasma cannons in general. Not really sure what the tac squad are bringing to the party. Sitting back camping is generally scouts work.

But you have a reasonable mix of firepower and a lot of mobility. Should play fairly decent.

Admittedly, im unfamiliar with 7th ed a bit, so i guess ill add the snipers to the CAD. I just always had success with the plasma squad, and still do you know? Its a preference lol
