Hear me out. I sold off all of my 40k armies, but I still miss going to tournaments and playing every now and then. I was taking intentionally gimped Tyranid
lists to big tournaments like NOVA and Killadelphia because I like the uphill battle. I've always liked DKoK aesthetically and basically the Death Rider
models really are probably my favorite in the 40k universe.
So with that in mind, I'd like to buy a full DKoK army from Forgeworld that I can take to local/big tournaments and have a chance, but I've never played with
any of these models or against them, really. Tyranid Flyrant tournament armies laugh in the face of Imperial Guard forces and Ive never thought much of
them. All of this is paper hammer but before spending ~$1200 on an army, it'd be nice to iron out some details!
This is using the Death Rider Squadron CAD, hence the 4x Elites, no troops, OS Fast attack

Rider's would generally start off the board and stay off as long as possible unless there are soft targets. Right now I dont see a lot of endurance with so much of the army
having to castle. Would a large platoon for sheer bodies on the board be something to consider? Should I cut some of the static models?
