both not bad at all:
List 1:
at this points level, i really wouldn't bother with exarchs. its points you are taking away from numbers on the ground.
without grenades, banshees just are not worth it, ever i'm afraid.
List 2
drop exarchs and grab an extra fire dragon
or
drop the dire avenger exarch run give the FD exarch a fire pike
So:
5 Fire Dragons
- Exarch w/Firepike - 135
5 Dire Avaengers - 65
200
have you considered jetbikes?
they are scrummy in kill team, as they are in general

How are the exarchs not worth it??? They gain an extra WS, BS, Wound, Initiative and Attack for less points than buying another squad member. In addition to all of that they each have they're own special rule. Banshees don't need grenades because their acrobatic special rule lets them ignore cover when charging.
-What would you bring besides banshees?

MOAR Warp Spiders
They are extremely maneuverable, good against basically any unit you can find in KT, even hard to kill with their mobility and their 3+ save. If you want to Assault them you can't shoot them or they will jump back outside of your assault range, and even if you do assault them they have high WS and 3+ armor, and you can't tarpit them because of a 2+ Hit and Run. Spiders are even stronger in KT than in regular games (and they are VERY good in regular games), given that most missions benefit from high mobility, and there aren't many AP3/2 weapons around. Personally, I think 10 Spiders + Exarch are one of the strongest KT lists in the whole game.

Hahaha good point! But I was trying to go with something a little different than the obvious spider spam. I was thinking that the banshees might make up for the only weakness of spiders which is CC.

Oh, sure, I think Banshees in KT are quite OK, and the fact that you can have at most 3+ armor makes them extremely deadly against almost anything except vehicles (or T5, they are still only S3). Spiders, however, are on another level completely. They have extremely powerful shooting, so the don't need CC, and they are so mobile that getting assaulted is not really an issue. Even if they are assaulted, they are still WS4, 3+ save units which can't be tarpitted thanks to H&R. Finally, in KT mobility wins games, and while Banshees are fast, Spiders are MUCH faster
