Combining Dante with archangels means no scatter vanguard with inferno pistols to hopefully deal with anything. Lots of bolt pistol shots to hopefully make a mess of anything else. Will probably start with nothing on the table cause I'll get turn 1 rerollable reserves, or maybe just the bike and captain hidden somewhere.

Would love to get your thoughts.

I would love to see some comments on this list as well. We need to figure out some way to use our jump marines. So you have the hard hitting Dante and crew, the short dreads, and the vets to clean things up. So a pretty balanced list. I would say swap out the attack bike for some scouts to hold your back field objectives, but then you would be taking away some of your vets.

One other thought, and this may be heresy coming from a fellow blood angle player, is a marine Skyhammer Annihilation force. Then your jump marines can assault, and the Devastators can pack a punch. But then what do I do with all these painted red marines??

I'd personally run a couple of squads as 4x melta and 5 man. make the units sacrificial ones.

If Vanguard Vets are being used with the Archangels Demi with Dante, I would suggest treating them as extreme surgical tools.

5 man max, you want their footprint small because you want to fit them anywhere. If something is about 3 in away from their board edge, you can get back there.

Some running anti infantry with hand flamers (only on 4 of them though)

Others running inferno pistols. At min, take 3 units so you can surround something such as a knight and have a good chance on killing it. It also depends if you are taking 2 per model or not.

You probably want to drop in cover if you can, perhaps equip some with SS to have some more defense.
