So here's the first list, I'll be running the Space Marines as a Sons of Dorn detachment (Battle Demi-Company and Stormwing), and the Skitarii as an allied detachment. Lots of objective secured, lots of anti-troop, not a ton of anti-tank, what do you guys think? Local meta has space marines, tau, skitarii, dark angels, and orks afaik

HQ
Captain w/ The Spartean, Bike, Power Sword, and Storm Shield-165
Tech Priest Dominus-105

Troop
Sergeant w/ Combi-Grav, 9 Tactical Marines w/ Grav-gun and Heavy Bolter-175
Rhino w/ Dozer Blade-40
Sergeant w/ Combi-Melta, 9 Tactical Marines w/ Meltagun and Heavy Bolter-170
Rhino w/ Dozer Blade-40
Sergeant w/ Combi-Plasna, 9 Tactical Marines w/ Plasma Gun and Heavy Bolter-175

Onager Dunecrawler w/ Neutron Laser and Cognis Heavy Stubber-115
Devastator Squad w/ 2 Heavy Bolters and 2 Missile Launchers-120

Total-2000

Here's the second list, the Space Marines are the exact same except for adding the predator, the Knight provides good anti-tank and is a huge fire draw

What do you plan on doing with those grav marines? Camp them or run them forward? Otherwise I believe the second one is a pretty good list since it fills out the stuff you lack and the Knight provides a very good distraction from less threatening but still deadly units. Also I got my ass beat by a similar list since I only had one Chimera to defend myself. All my criticism is the sort of lack of anti-horde not so much anti-infantry. Can't talk much about Skitarii since I've never really played against them and never bothered to learn their mechanics.

The plan for the Grav is to deploy them in their rhino and drive to a point where I can take out any terminators or vehicles. I definitely agree about the knight filling a distraction role, having him and the stormwing seems like it could cause people to get too distracted by the flashy stuff to go after my troops
