I have been trying to get stuff for KoW and DZ lately through online retailers. The ones that still carry Mantic product seem to be having trouble getting things through distribution in a timely fashion. Every time I place an order with Wayland including Mantic items, said items hold the order up for 2+ months. Miniature Msrket no longer appears to stock Mantic lines period. And US online retailers that do stock Mantic items seem to take a while to ship them, albeit nothing so long as Wayland. What's the deal? Has anyone found a more reliable retail source (obviously other than direct)?

That's weird that the online stores do that. They must not keep an active inventory maybe?

My LGS has been ordering more and more mantic stuff and gets shipments every two weeks. Obviously a little different than the online but same principle should apply for ordering.

Do you have a local game store that is willing to stock it for you? I k ow you're in the states so you might want to try ordering from Discount Games Store (located in Dayton Ohio) I am not sure if they stock mantic regularly but I have ordered GW and Spartan Games stuff from them before and the store owner and people who work there are awesome so I'm sure they can help you out! Also he gives great discounts on stuff! I order from him when the Canadian dollar is closer to UsD.

My local FLGS keeps clearancing out its Mantic stock. They ordered a bunch of stuff when KoW2 made it big, but it doesn't seem to have moved much.

Getting product is an issue in many US stores at least but also Kickstarter. We have stores wanting to push Dreadball or KoW for ex. but everyone already has their product via KS. Maybe other areas have this problem and hopefully it's getting better.

We usually have stock of most of Mantic's range and place new orders each week so unless you are ordering something that is out of production with Mantic, there is no earthly reason why an order with us for those products would take more than a week to come in (if we don't already have it in stock). Manchu, could you PM me and I'll look into the specific details of your order?

PM sent - looking back on my records, it looks like about a week and a month was the actual longest delay time concerning Mantic through Wayland, rather than two full months.

I've been buying Starter Sets on eBay. I have my Slickdeals set up for an eBay flash sale, and pick one up every time there's a sale!

We were just talking about this, that with how awesome KoW is its a shame they can't get it in more stores here! I'd even love to just see the rules more widely available - we were discussing buying the Historicals expansion but I'm not sure where best to do so?

A while back I tried to order the standard hardcover rulebook from my FLGS and waited over a month before ultimately canceling my order and just buying it from Amazon. Got it in two days, and for $10 less. I want to support my FLGS, but I'm not going to wait months for stuff that I can get cheaper and faster online. I've heard a lot of people having similar problems at other stores. Mantic really needs to get it together in this area.

The first printing of the 2nd edition did sell out - so it is possible that the distributor ran through his stock, while Amazon had plenty.

Or that the store sat on the order for a while - which is what my old N-S-FLGS would do. (Not-So-Friendly Local Game Store, in case you couldn't guess.)

The last thing i ordered from Mantic was the Rulebook set with Uncharted Empires and that came in like a week, which is normal.
