I look forward to seeing the rules for these chaps! Pikes (presumably, though I'd settle for spears), heavy Dwarf Armour and Shields might make them definitely the 'ardest shieldwall to crack in the game (aside from Vault Wardens, but they're hideously expensive in both cash and points terms). Sure, they'll pay through the nose for it (in the BotFA supplement some fellow Dakkanaughts and I put together a few years back, a fully kitted Iron Hills Dwarf came to about 13ppm!), but they'll be the ultimate defensive troops, I imagine.

Were there be dragons....

I picked up Dane and a box of warriors. They actual models feels so much nicer compared to finecast. Expect to be paying £40 got Dain and the same for a box of 12 warriors. The ballista is £50.

On a different note i am yet to win a game, thats what i get for all trolls though!

Lovely models, but those prices are pretty eye watering.

tbh, compared to the finecast Mirkwood and Gundabad its a lot cheaper for a Warband. I agree the heroes are a bit dear though.

All my $$ going to this, plus finally reason to pick up a box or two of Grimhammers to paint.

If you look at it compared to the GW Hobbit costs, its actually not that unreasonable. The resin Dain set would be $50US at current exchange rates while the Finecast Bolg on foot and mounted set is $45. The box of 12 Iron Hills Dwarfs at $50 actually compares very favorably to the $100 cost for a dozen Finecast Gundabad Orcs.

I honestly think these prices are about a good as we could hope for.

The resin Iron Hills dwarves are only slightly more than the newer plastic sets and nearly half the price of Finecast. I'm very pleased.
