I?ll be playing this weekend and was hoping to get some advice on this list.<?

I anticipate playing against troop heavy Tau, with one Hammerhead and 1 team of 3 Crisis Suits.

I figure that my best bets are to either get into Hand to Hand or stay as far back as I can manage and keep firing off long range weapons.

Please give me any feedback you can I?d really appreciate it.

Well, given that you're playing against tau.

It looks ok.

With the 2 reaper squads, you should have plenty of firepower for crisis suits, so the starcannon on the falcon could be swapped for a scattter laser. Gives you a little more anti troop capacity. In the second reaper squad. try to fit an exarch with a reaper launcher with fast shot.

All problems can be solved with proper use of a high powered rifle and a water tower

Under no circumstance should a star cannon ever be swapped out for a scatter laser. There are only a couple of circumstances in the game where the scatter laser is better (shooting at vehicles, shooting at troops with no armor save, and shooting at troops with better cover saves than armor saves). In all other situations the star cannon is better and even in those situations, the scatter laser is only marginaly better than the star cannon even when you consider the fact that its cheeper.

That aside, I think this is one of the few places where you will find that dark reapers really excell. Just make sure you deploy them as far back in your deployment zone as possible and that you take out his hammerhead fast.

Make sure you land your hawks out of line of sight from any fire warrior squads or they will make short work of you when you land.

I tend to doubt the ability of a phoenix lord to do much more than give up an excessive amount of points but your milage may vary. I, myself, personaly would get a farseer to guid those reapers...or the falcon.

Threads should be like skirts: long enough to cover what's important but short enough to keep it interesting.
