Why two versions?
I'd consider two Bloodsecreators. Two worked very well in my 1500 pt list.

Yeah, i have thought of that. But i already have two models that will not play an aggressive role (Blood Secrator & Blood stoker) and i will need to have models who can go and claim objectives and hold them but if i could include a 2nd one what would you suggest i take out to fit him in?

So I have been working on a list incorporating the Warband Red headsmen. So here is my attempt:

Allegiance: Chaos

Leaders
Aspiring Deathbringer (80)
- Generalno
- Goreaxe and Skullhammer
- Trait: Lord of War
Skullgrinder (80)
- Artefact: Chaos Runeblade
Bloodsecrator (120)
Bloodsecrator (120)
Valkia The Bloody (120)
Skarr Bloodwrath (120)

Battleline
10 x Blood Warriors (200)
- Goreaxes
10 x Blood Warriors (200)
- Goreaxes
10 x Blood Warriors (200)
- Goreaxes
30 x Bloodreavers (180)
- Reaver Blades
20 x Bloodletters (200)

Units
5 x Skullreapers (140)
- Goreslick Blades
1 x Skull Cannons (180)

Battalions
Red Headsmen (60)

Total: 2000/2000

So tactics for the list it's mainly focus on getting the skullgrinder to kill the chosen units and buff everyone. Aspring Hero to buff the blood warriors along with the Blood Secrators, Valkia and Skarr to deal with threats. My bloodreavers are the fodder and protection for the Blood Warriors. Bloodletters are there to provide more damage and mortal wounds. Skull Cannon to provide some shooting support and Skullreapers to help against strong units and whittle them down. So tell me what you think?

thanks

This list looks really solid to me. The only thing I'd say is not to use reavers as fodder, as they are INCREDIBLE damagers with your secrators. I like that this list is full of things your opponent wants to kill. They won't know what to focus on first.

I'd say that Wrathmongers would be a good addition, as they'd be giving a select few units in your army even MORE attacks, but that'd mean shifting around some points and I wouldn't know what else to change. You could possibly ditch the skullcannon for 5 Wrathmongers, though the cannon is good.

But dude, this is a swish army, imho. Good job

Thanks Tiberius - i really appreicate the feedback, i did study hard about how to improve my bloodbound list since my last attempted at the LVO and as much as i would like to do a more mixed unit, i could not figure out a great combo and after picking up Tzeentch and seeing how thier warbands really help buff thier troops i went back to see what bloodbound had access to and this warband called my name. I have a tourney coming up on march 4th so will keep a battle report handy with pictures to let you all know about it. Now to your suggestion:

Wrathmongers- yes i thought of this exact same thing and thier plus of just throwing them to my opponent characters to kill themselves was really tempting but the only way i can see this working is by dropping the reavers down to 20 strong which may hurt the reavers damage output as you mentioned it. ill keep thinking of ways to try and fit them in but i may just run with this list.

I'll definitely be keen to see how your army performs in the battle report, hope it goes well for you!

So just finished the tourney over this past weekend and wasnt a big turnout but boy there was alot of death running a very similar list. Morguls and Vamp Hero w/ Cursed Book. Very tough to beat but what i did not think i would encounter is a very nasty Serephon list. This list had Lord Kroak, couple of Skink priest (one was on a throne) a eternity warden and 3 blocks of Saurus Guard. Basically with the warbattalion, the guards had a re-rollable 2+ save that ignored any rending of -1 and if the unit didnt move each damage was D3. Luckily the player was keen on obtaining objectives so i was able rush up to him and hold him at his deployment zone but Kroaks earthquake spell did what it needed too at the last turn and knocked out my last unit that was threating his objective. So draw on objectives but minor loss to me due to loosing more units than my opponents. This was my last Hurrah with Khorne as i have my Tzeentch army now ready to be assembled and painted.
