3rd has quite a movement. That being known as "Oldhammer". I'd go so far as to say that the poll's not valid without it as an option.

My community doesn't support non-official or unsupported games, so my answer to this poll is none of the above.

There is an option for 3rd edition, Its called Pre 6th. Also all of Warhammer Fantasy (Not counting 9th age) would be Oldhammer because Age of Sigmar is the newest edition.

Not entirely true, Oldhammer refers to a very specific period of WFB play, as does Classichammer, which focuses more on 5-7th edition WFB. And they are fairly different animals, so the distinction is valid.

For 4-6th WFB, 2-5th 40k, and similar timeframe gaming

Looking for dice from the new AOS boxed set and Dark Imperium on the cheap. Let me know if you can help.

That's far from standard terminology.

Pre-AoS Oldhammer was "anything before 8th". There were several 6-7th groups calling themselves Oldhammer so when you heard the world you basically had to ask "yeah, but which one?".

I've heard "Classichammer" and "Midhammer" too but mostly by 3rd-4th edition players that don't want to be mixed with those 6th-7th younglings.

And of course 8th edition is now oldhammer as well, so....

I'd happily play 9th but sadly no-one in my area is even considering taking it up or trying it out. As such, I take what few games of 8th I can get, and am more than happy to do so!
