A quick post covering this lovely Blitzkrieg Miniatures 28mm Matilda Infantry Tank and Commander.

I am taking part in the Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge this year and this week the theme round was Armour, luckily I had this old girl lying around unpainted.

Lots of pics on the blog with a discussion on the name in case you are curious.

There are some great entries in the Armour Bonus Round and you can vote too if you pop down to the Analogue Hobbies Theme Round site, there is a link on my post if you can't find it.

Very attractive. I like the subdued colours of the Caunter scheme. However, the underlying resin kit seems to be a bit rough in places - such as around the commander's hatch.

I tried to find the other armour entries in the competition, but was defeated by the site, which I found impossible to navigate.

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

I don't know if it's the level of zoom I have used on the photo but I have always been very impressed with the Blitzkrieg Miniatures Models, the damage on the hatch was no doubt caused by me when I split it in half to get it to open.

Shame you couldn't get on the side there were some really nice paint jobs.
