Got my local Regional this week but I haven't been playing much X-Wing of late so falling back to the dull but acceptable TLT spam (either 4xY's or 2xY and 2xScum HWK's)

I'm once again a bit out of the meta loop, so any newer lists I should be worrying about ?

You'll be fine. I'd go with 3 Y-Wings and Palob, to steal that damn evade tokens Defenders get.

Which regionals Turnip?

The Toronto regionals last weekend evidently did not feature any Palpatine Defenders (I asked VTTV folks who were streaming on twitch). RAC/Ryad seemed to be a popular (and powerful) choice. Triple k-wing with bombs made it to the semi-final (losing to Dash Nora). Fenn/manaroo/guri was the other finalist.

I think a 3-4 y-wing list has enough hull/shields to survive the bombs of the k-wings, but some of those other builds could cause problems

It's a UK one only an hour from my hobbit hole (deep in the depths of rural SW England), got somewhere around 100 down to play, which is simply stunning turnout and a credit to my local(ish) game shop effort's to support X-Wing over the last couple of years

Was tempted by K-Wings but I think slams and bombs would have needed quite a few games to get eyeballing distances down well

I don't think I've faced Defender Aces in the last few smaller local tornys, but TLT's are reasonably middle of the road, the final choice will most likely be made first thing Saturday !
