Actually, I think the only thing wrong is you go for too bright a colour - maybe make it a bit more subtle and grade it.

Don't suppose you could post some Amazon links for the craft stuff you use, the wooden beads, polystyrene and so forth?Would be immensely helpful making these and getting them to look right. And roll on the the thrifty Baneblade! :-)
