I am trying to design my work station and am looking for any suggestions. I am planning on building myself to add to the pride in it, but any pictures of your work stations or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What kind of thing are you looking to put on it?
Shelves, paint-pot-holders, lighting, spray-booth?

Make sure the room DOES NOT have natural light as its main light source. That may sound dumb, but for high-level painting you'll want the light level to stay consistent.

I am looking at doing a plexiglass painting surface with a cutting board, a storage cabinet that opens to reveal paints and additional storage, a few good sources of light, areas to hold brushes and other related supplies, and a separate light box for photographing. I prefer to hand paint as opposed to spraying but a spray box is not out of the question.

Not as grand as yours but I have a standard desk with drawers on one side and spaced shelves on the other. The desk surface IS the painting surface. Paints go on trays on the shelves. Scenery, "bits" and tools in the drawers.
I also have a GW hobby station lap tray (Humbrol now do one for half the price, and I've seen MDF lasercut equivalents on ebay). I have a small portable modelling vice.
Stars of the show are however a £5 lazy susan turntable from IKEA, and a cheap £20 daylight magnifying light from Hobbycraft.
Happy painting!
