Res Orbs are a little overkill in a Decurion. If you can't find somewhere else to spend 25 points, they're an okay include. Tomb Blades are fantastic late game objective grabbers and I would take a second Tomb Blade unit before taking a second Immortal unit. The Solar Staff is a little wasted on the Destroyer Lord. DLords are assault monsters, so I wouldn't waste the points giving him an okay shooting weapon. Heavy Destroyers are hit and miss. Not bad, but not good either. Judicator Battalions like a second Stalker. It Increases their BS boost bubble and gives you better sight lines for Target Designated. I hope this helps.

Depending who the OL is in a unit with isn't the Orb useless. You can't improve Resurrection Protocol past 4+ according to the recent FAQ.

And everyone in the Reclamation Legion already has the 4+ right?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Though I disagree that a rezorb is useless in a decurion. If anything, its enhanced in a decurion, as if the Olord is with the Praetorians and manages to save one of them with the rezorb then its made its points back. It's combined usually with the Solar staff, which the Dlord takes for its ability of psuedo invisibility - not its relatively lacklustre shooting ability. This combo can be mega demorlaising for opponents when they attempt to throw everything at this unit, can't hit it due to snapfire only then can't kill it due to rezorb rerolling 4+ reanimation protocols against almost everything due to T5.

Played and won my last three practice games with this list, but think it could do better. Still don't really fancy wraiths, but like these combos:

Decurion
Core - Rec. Legion;
Overlord, Veil of Darkness, Phlyactery, Rezorb, Warscythe
10x Warriors
10x Warriors
7x Immortals
3x Tomb Blades, Gauss, Shieldvanes, Nebscopes
3x Tomb Blades, Particle Blasters, Shieldvanes, Nebscopes
6x Lychguard, Warscythes

Auxiliary - Judicator Battalion;

8x Triarch Praetorians, Rods of Covenant
5x Triarch Praetorians, Particle Caster & Voidblade
Triarch Stalker, Heavy Gauss Cannon

Auxiliary - Destroyer Cult;
DLord, Solar staff
3x Destroyers
3x Destroyers
3x Destroyers
1x Heavy Destroyer

Auxiliary - Deathmarks
7x Deathmarks

1992 Points

As long as the OL is running with someone outside of the Reclamation Legion the orb serves it's purpose and I agree totally worth it. If he's with the Lychguard for example it's a waste since RP can never be better then 4+.

That's not how rezorbs work. They don't boost the RP's (aside from the relic one that I've never seen used) they allow you to reroll them. Therefore, with one turn using the solar staff on that squad and the next turn popping the rezorb that squad is very difficult to inflict casualties on.

It was certainly difficult to decide who to put the solar staff on, as the Dlord is a monster. However, with the Olords better weapon skill I thought he's a better choice for a warscythe. And the Dlord can split and solo with his JSJ if need be
