Personally I use netepic gold rules as they roll the original games into 1, allowing for pretty much all units.
They have also tweaked the core rules slightly to remove common issues and add a bit more balance.

The Chimera and some assciated variants did see life for Space Marine 2/Titan Legions -albeit late in the day. They were in a White Dwarf.....

The rules for the 2nd edition Chimera are found in the Titan Legions book called Codex Titanicus that came with the Titan Legions game.
The rules for the three variants, the Chimerax, Chimedon, and Chimerro are found in White Dwarf issue #185
