I'd have to see a picture, but in description it sounds like a pretty good haul. I'd go for it if I was in that market for the list.

Sounds pretty good to me unless the models have been poorly assembled - because you can strip/repaint/rebase almost anything unless they've been super poorly assembled.

Just the paints alone would be worth that money if they're not used up or dried. Sounds like someone ditching the hobby - probably not a bad idea.
