Hello iv been getting into bolt action and so far have the band of brothers set, sherman v, and a box of british commandos. That being said i want to build a canadian army. Aiming for about 500 points. What kits would i use to best represents the canadian army. I know it would be the. Ritish kits but which closely resembles what we had in the war. Also mostly want to stick with plastic. Not a fan of resin and metal. Thanks

The canadians were thoroughly dressed and equipped with british stuff so you basically just need to apply canadian insignias to basic british infantry from Warlordgames. It's a fair prices and the models if not the best as far as details quality are overall correct.

There was a fair bit of supply by the Americans during the war.
I believe the "Sherman M5" was a variant used by the British so that makes a good tie-in.
This may help too:

Then, for markings there is this book:

The Canadians used tanks supplied by the British (Canada, strictly speaking, did not receive Lend Lease equipment).

In NW Europe, they used the M4 (Sherman I), M4A2 (Sherman III) and M4A4 (Sherman V), as well as the Firefly version of the Sherman I and V. Warlord produce the Sherman I and Sherman V in plastic. Rubicon have a Sherman III in the works (it's probably out late this year).

The Canadians also used the M10, Achilles, Sexton and M3A3 (Stuart V). The M10 is available in plastic from Warlord and Rubicon; the Rubicon version also builds an Achilles. There isn't yet a plastic Sexton or Stuart V, but they're both available from Warlord in resin.

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
