I saw this on the Warhammer 40,000 FB page in their latest video. It was around ~45 seconds into the video. I'm assuming it's a conversion of some sort, but I'm not really sure and I haven't seen anything posted about it yet, so... scrutinize this image, please.

Interesting, thanks for posting. Maybe a conversion. Which video? Is it on YT as well?

Oh, it looks like it was actually posted by Warhammer TV and it was then shared by Warhammer 40,000. Apparently it was posted two days ago at 10:00 AM.

I think this was the URL to their page and video: https://www.facebook.com/WarhammerTVteam/videos/332010690527249/

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I figured this out. The bodies are from Nurgle Plague Drones and the arms are from Tyranid Zoanthropes. The rest of the stuff looks like various other Tyranid bits. Sorry, guys. Didn't mean to cause an upset. Feel free to lock this thread up. I am still wondering, though, what exactly those conversions are supposed to be. Venomthropes, maybe?

I am almost certain that those are conversions using the bodies of the Plague Drone flies.

No problem. But yes it looks like someone's army is featured in their next show and these are conversions (plague flies). I think we saw it before, as part of Armies on Parade(?). It is not a Studio paint scheme, so I doubt it would be teasing an upcoming release. I'm looking forward to their next show on wednesday, they seem to have expanded the content

It's from Armies on Parade 2016. The Tyranid Army can be found in the November White Dwarf on page 98/99.

I moved this to the Warhammer 40k discussion forum. While it's not News and Rumors since the mystery has been solved, it's still pretty cool.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Not seeing the video my first guess was they were Rippers.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Can't be sure, but that looks like a Ripper from the Genestealer sprue?

Dunno. Thought they might be the upper parts of a Malceptor, but it seems not.
