Anyone else experiencing problems?
I used to really like this program. Paid for previous iteration. Now, sonce the "upgrade" it seems unstable wonky and suuuuucks.
Before you say its not the designer its the database files etc.... yeah I know. But my files keep getting messed up and i have to rebuild the list or delete BS and reinstall. Anyone else? Is it Russian hackers bent on making me troll the internet or worse, GW hackers?

The 30k files seem to have had a big update in the last few days, and my army list is now broken. meanwhile, the 40k files work, but I can't understand the thinking behind doing them the way they're done.
I've got the 40k, 30k and Epic Armageddon files and I can make army lists using all three.
I'm assuming that with the upcoming release of HH book 7, and things like the Imperial Agents book and the Fall of Cadia/Fracture of Biel-tan books, the updates are more frequent than before?

I can not get BattleScribe to work at all. Every time I try to build a new list it just fails to load.

The black rage is within us all. Lies offer no shield against it. You speak of donning the black of duty for the red of brotherhood; but it is the black of rage you shall wear when the end comes.

Battlescribe is working fine for me.
However I did have an issue a while back where I couldn't make any 40k lists and kept getting error messages every time I tried.
I resolved it by deleting the 40k datafiles and then searching for and updating them again. It seems the issue was that a previous file update hadn't replaced all the files it was meant to and the program found 2 different locations for 40k.

^ This. After a big programme update, you should always update the source data of the info it uses for lists, as guaranteed it's broken something as its not strictly 100% compatible with the updated software.

This wasn't even to do with the big 2.0 update, it was a combination of one of the minor patches to Battlescribe and a minor patch made the the 40k files after Traitor Legions.
Not sure entirely what caused it, though maybe it somehow found data from 1.0, even though I thought I deleted it all. It's just a bit strange it didn't occur earlier.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k. Rule #1 - BBAP

LoL. The circle is complete.
BS WAS the competition to AB because a lot of gamers either didn't like ABs formatting or file arrangement or update speed (or because the day ended in 'y').
I stopped using AB because I didn't play any games supported by it.
I haven't used BS since they updated 9th age to version whateveritisnow.1

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
