Tried some advanced data searching (aka Google) to find a good highlight color for my Royal Purple painted Space Marines but not succesful. Do you guys and girls have any suggestions?

I've added a WIP photo just in case.

I use the Vallejo Model Colour royal purple (which I assume is very very simillar) extensively with my Dark Elves. And I couldn't find a good 'out of the pot' highlight colour. I mix VGC Bonewhite into the Royal Purple and it comes out great. I use varying ratios depending on the model etc. Give it a go and see how it looks.

Worth a note, I noticed that the wet paint is slightly brighter than that it looks like when it's dry.

Good luck. Post results

Thanks, I followed your advice and this is the result on the test mini's.

Any C&C is very much appreciated. For now I'm thinking on thinner lines woth a brighter colour purple. What do you guys think?

It's very subtle at the moment. Personally, I like it.

If you want more of a pop, more bonewhite in the mix would work. Just hit some sharper points / natural highlight parts and you're golden.
