This list is based around my current IG force, I wanted to make a fun treadhead list that can also hold its own at a semi-competitive level.

Couple of quick points about this list:

- 1: Plan for the squads is to blob them up into either 1x 20 and 3x 10, or 2x 20 and 1x 10. Voxes and Autocannons are distributed to ensure the most efficient use of orders, hence the TART.
- 2: I also have an Inquisitor and Commissar model I'd like to include somewhere.
- 3: I know sponsons on Ordnance Russes are a bad idea, but I built them years ago and removing them would require a lot of cleaning and restoring.

What point value are you looking at? Looks like just under 1500 as is?

What additional models do you have available, specifically heavy/special weapons? Even based on just the ones listed I would shuffle some around.
The CCS is primarily there to issue orders, so the plasma guns in it are pretty much wasted, as it should be sitting behind the blobs. If you have another HW, give it and a regimental standard to the CCS. Spread those plasma guns into the Infantry squads or move them en masse into one of the PCS. Also, I would lump three of the flamers into the second PCS. If points allow and you have them, give the CCS and PCSs Chimeras.
Again, if you have them, I would put heavy and special weapons (ranged, not flamers) into each Infantry squad. My preference is either lascannon/plasma gun or Autocannon/grenade launcher.
Commissar and/or Inquisitor. Oh yes, between adding stubborn and the LD boost for orders, definitely worth it. Use the old Inquisition codex (not AoI) and take an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor with 3 x servo-skulls. Helps against enemy Infiltration/Scouting shenanigans.
I usually run sponsons as well, but haven't used a Demolisher or standard MBT in a long time so they are not wasted. In addition, given random allocation on weapon destroyed, sponsons make it less likely to lose the main gun. I'd probably switch the Demolisher and MBT around. That would give the Demolisher more freedom to maneuver, while matching up the main gun ranges in the TC Squadron. Cause sometimes you fail the split fire command...

Specifically, it's mostly Flamers, with a few Grenade Launchers and Plasma, I also have a couple of Meltas, and with some Guard left to build I can add a couple of any other Special needed. I could shift them around and use the Autocannon/Grenade Launcher as recommended.

Good point on the Demolisher, I think that had occurred to me when making the list, just forgot to change it. With the Inquisitor, I'm also a fan of the Needle Pistol, Fleshbane Ap2 isn't that common and it'd be pretty handy in most circumstances.

Well by that I mean I wanted this list to have a rather fluffy background. I wanted to go for a good mixed Guard list, where it could still hold it's own at a semi-competitive level. This, as well as the fact my girlfriend bought me the Triumvriate for Valentine's Day, makes me want to do a proper Fall of Cadia style list, with Celestine leading large numbers of Guardsmen supported by a good few armour pieces.

What do you mean by black and white? Is that a good thing?
