Let's see how far we've all come since we started.
Left: Moria Goblin that I got from the old Battle Games in Middle Earth fortnightly magazine (Emperor, how I miss those) circa 2003 when I was 10 years old.
Right: Emperor's Children Noise Marine circa last week.

My tiny lead Ral Parth figures I used for custom characters in Hero Quest (yeah I game-bashed rules when I was 9!) is loooooooong gone.

Let's see if any of these work, they are taken with a super crappy tablet camera with horrible lighting, so on the most recent figures, nearly all of the shading from the washes and layering I apply is gone:
Dating? I can't speak for the Rogue Trader figure, but let's just put 18-20 years as a time gap!

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Here is a figure from the first wargame I ever bought into. Clan War. I'm amazed I found a picture of it.
Here is a few Infinity figures from the last wargame I bought into and probably the last actual 28mm figure I've painted.
Here is the first large scale model I ever worked on, While I'm not so proud of the paint job, I still love the conversion ideas.
And the last large model kit I worked on, sadly the flash has somewhat washed out the shadings.

Here we go
First Tank (Model) Ever.
The Broadsword Vanquisher Tank. Initial idea was all the Tanks and equipment were salvaged from whatever could be cobbled together. Hence, all his "extra parts" such as the Aircraft wing for a dozer blade and the Landing Gear from I think was a F-14 tomcat to hold up its giant Hunter killer missile.
Eventually that was abandoned as I kept reworking the fluff.
Newest Unit period.
Custom Humanoid Knight Titan (Gallant).
Lionhardt.
His paint is different as the Mechanicus focused units have a Red, Blue and Gold trim. Some of the Tanks have a Red primary color with the Tempestus units having a REd, Blue Gold as well. There is a Blue, Silver, Gold, and Bronze series of tanks that were from a Box I got at GW HQ on a vacation. They are the only ones who are totally different from the rest.

Haha! This is brilliant I've always thought that this should be a requirement for Golden Daemon entries just to show the rest of us that the painters are mortal after all
