This is the culmination of a month's worth of work (part time of course I have a full time job). A total of 18 minis, 4 vehicles, 5 barricades, 5 road sign markers, 8 supply markers and a 20x20" board. I made the cars from $5.99 CVS pull back toys, varying from 1:43-1:48 scale. The supply markers I made from a Tamiya Humvee accessory kit. The signs I made from packaging plastic (the stuff that blister packs come in), and steel wire. I picked this game up after a demonstration at a convention, and it is super fun. I hope you enjoy my work and feel free to ask me anything about any techniques you like or if you just want to leave a comment or two that is ok too. As you can see my photography "studio" is small (almost non-existent) so I apologize for the lack of a back drop on the picture of the entire board. Thanks for taking a gander at my work!

Great work all around, especially the choice of cars (I have some of those too!), the barricades and other scatter terrain.

Great photography too!

Awesome work!
Do you have any tips on painting the cars? I assume you used an airbrush & masked the windows. Did you prime them or just start painting them as they came?
Cheers!

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Well thank you kindly for your praise! Yes I did a lot of it with airbrush, and all of the spot highlighting was with traditional brushwork. I suggest you check out some chipping tutorials. I used a chipping medium (AK interactive makes a great product), but you can use all kinds of techniques. also, oil paints work great for streaks

Fantastic work all round - very impressive. I can appreciate the turnaround on this bunch too. I work a full-time job that sucks a lot of time out of the week and I've recently gotten back into hobbying and finding time is hard. Well done on your completion of a great set of miniatures.

Top notch work, the whole set fits together to create a wonderful atmosphere. The overall tone that's both colourful and quite muted is really fitting.

Those repurposed cars are some of the best toy-to-terrain jobs I've seen, I might need to nick that idea for some Batman terrain at some point.

Very nice paint and excellent terrain. The cars really work because they seem to be about the right scale.

To echo everyone, the cars are super awesome and the weathering is exactly what Id want. I really want to play that game.

Everything is convincing and well executed, good stuff.

Amazon also has them, search for die cast cars and look for 1/48 or 1/43
