So the rule says that on a 5+ you get an identical unit to the one destroyed in your ongoing reserves, but what happens if you bought them a triaros and bailed them out before they got killed? Do you get another triaros each time too?

As funny as that would be, Dedicated Transports are still separate units. They just don't take up a Force-Org slot.
You still pay full price for the transport, but getting the option to start a unit inside. After the deployment, it turns into a normal transport.
