Here's our first episode of an ongoing narrative campaign we've just started in the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game. It features the Judge Vinchenzo and his time patrolling Vigoda Block. Feedback is always welcome, sit back and Enjoy the Show!

Nice vid, thanks for posting!

"Time to get f#@*%d up on that Z!!!"

I love those Warmill buildings but I can't stomach their shipping costs.

RIP Cadet Nixon - never even got to make his Hotdog Run! And two escapes ... Bet Dredd gives Chenzo a memorable dressing down ...

The Warmill kits are some of the better sci fi buildings I've been able to get my hands on. The shipping can be a nightmare but my order was a little on the larger side so I got free express shipping. I wish the US had some better options for terrain when it comes to MDF.

We have a few more games coming up and the minions survival rate is way better than I thought it would have turned out. Chenzo better pull his s*%t together or he's going to get busted down to a meter maid in no time.

Does Warmill have a free shipping threshold? Or did you negotiate that deal?

I am cooking up a little something for Gangs of MC1 ... I'm not exactly sure how it will go, considering I plan on using the much-loathed plastic gangers. But the idea is, four gangs - each one themed on one of the GW Chaos Gods: the Nurps, Pewks, Zerks, and Tzaps. I don't have any convincing Dredd-esque terrain, however ...

I am really looking forward to seeing more batreps from you guys! If you're looking for some more scenery, I'd recommend some futurustic cars from Antenocitis. Oh, and there are some pretty cool mats available from Deep Cut. I plan on using the "Space Hulk" themed one.

I didn't ask about the Warmill shipping, it just kind of worked out that way. I dropped over $150 so I'm assuming thats the threshold.

I keep seeing that MC1 box set on ebay, whats wrong with it? That could be a fun campaign for you, the street gangs are always so hilariously bad that its fun.

I've been looking at some Deep Cut mats, they seem like they have a good product and I'll make a note of those cars for sure. Little touches like that go miles for setting the scene when youre rolling the dice.

I have Deep Cut mats in both PVC and cloth (all 3x3) - I actually prefer the cloth.

I will def check out Warmill again, now that I know about a free shipping threshold.

As for what's wrong with Gangs of Mega-City One ... TBH I am not sure there is anything wrong with the rules. IIRC Matt designed the JD Mini Game rules to handle the wider gamut of the JD franchise as well as other 2000AD IPs like ABC Warriors and Rogue Trooper (he posts here, we could ask him). The plastics are reviled for a number of reasons: brittle plastic that doesn't work well with plastic glue, lack of detail, static poses, difficulty modeling the hands and weapons, etc.

I haven't used a cloth mat yet, I always imagined they would get creased easily.

I heard the rules were fun, I meant the models. Because for $15 its hard not to grab a box to beef up a street gang collection. Knowing this now, I'll probably steer clear and just grab some gang models off Wargame Foundry.

So I assembled some for my Nurgle-themed gang last evening and yes plastic glue is all but useless. The sculpts are fine IMO if you want that MC1 look. I plan on painting them up tonight. Will post up some pics so you can get a better idea before you buy.
