Greetings and salutations ladies and gentlemen.
I have decided to ask for some feedback on a models and sculpts that I'm doing. Don;t know what to say more right now.
I am looking to make thees into reality and either 3D print them or get some manufactured.

So here is a first W.I.P
A Sky-ray a flying psychic mount for psychically gifted individuals.

For now it's 20k polys wanted to hear what do you think people. I am planing ot make it more detailed obviously and a little bit smoother.

The 3d model looks good, but lots of 3d models look good. How it prints is what matters. Lets see how the 3d model translates to the table.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Yeah I got problem with that. I don't know really where to print it except the shape ways. Well I know there are other places too however they don;t offer that high quality of a print.

And some progress on the project.

Truly my speed is amazing.....

In order to 3D print it I had to increase the thickness of the wings. Once I've thickened them, They were looking of while swept forawd, so I had to alter that and that's the result. Good news is that I managed to find soem decent enough 3D printing services. Once I get some more designs done I'll have to order some.

Here is a completed and slightly re-designed model of my ray.
I am planing to get it 3d printed very soon and modify it afterwards.

I will submit some pics when I get it done, that's for sure and write some report on it too.

New content ladies and gentlemen!

A first prototype. It took 4 attempts to make this one.
Details are looking pretty damn great and I will be getting also one at 20 microns resolution. Side that was printed at 100 microns have massive tumor due that cooling fans stooped for some reason. So the polymer couldn;t sset properly.

Yes I am crap at making good photos, but at real life it looks so much better, also take into considerations it was not optimised for 3D print and also it wasn't fully post processed properly.

I am working on a new models that will be fully optimized.

A next 3D model for 3D printinting.

This is just a blackout to figure out basic anatomy and where to put on later details and decorations. I intend to make it's parts compatible with other popular similar mechs used in table top games.

Any opinions or feedback ?

So let's have some progress.

A progress on a model I was doing a little bit earlier on. The base structure of the mech is more ore less complete, there are some adjustments needed and also much more fine details, like rivets and some articulation in between armour plates. However I will be doing arms and few weapons for it.

I wanted to hear what do you people think about it, what else you would like to see on it?
And yes it will be 3D printed.

Just my two cents.....the feet needs to be square... That's for the walking purpose, if it is supposed to liik animalistic add detail to the structure. Looking good though

That's a quite good advice yeah.

For this one I intend to make it's feet clawed. So yeah I will have to put more details or even re-work current ones.

Also I am considering to make several changable designs but that's for later.

I am going to make it in few more passes, and possibly I will be doing early low-quality test print to figure out proportions and compatibility with other models.

Later on the line I am also going to make few more decorative panels and viewing ports.

I got question to you. How do you like the engine compartment? Aka the back panel, with exhaust ports. I am not sure exactly about that one. Obviously it will be detailed later.

So here is a mostly completed 1st pass. I will be using this one for a tests how it would be best way to 3d print it in order to cast it further, later on.
2nd pass later on will have more details, bigger arms selection, possibly a feet selection and several decorative bits, to choose from!

I would love to hear our comments feedback and critique on this one.

It looks like you're merging the classic Crate-of-doom and Contemptor patterns.. looks quite interesting.

I have to admit that I am not fond of the contemptor head design, same as the venereable dreds. It looks so off.

" Here have this massive armoured sarcophagus, but your head have to stick out of it" It makes little sense even by 40k standards.
