Hey guys, just to double check, deathmarks on a turn they arrive from deep strike get 2+ on to wound rolls. My question is, if i take a cryptek with them, and give him the veil of darkness (allows to be used once a game to leave the table and deep strike back) would my deathmarks get that 2+ to wound again on the second deepstrike?

From the main rulebook FAQ (linky):
Q: Does a unit always enter the game from Reserves when Deep Striking? The rules for Deep Striking seem to imply that being the case, even when a unit is already on the table. As an example, does a unit of Warp Talons that is using Gate of Infinity trigger its Warpflame Strike each time they use the psychic power?
A: Not unless explicitly stated – in the example you use, Gate of Infinity has the unit arrive anywhere on the board using the rules for Deep Strike. This doesn’t mean that it goes into Deep Strike Reserve, or that you have to make a Reserve Roll for the unit and so on, and it means that you don’t get to use the Warpflame Strike each time you do this.
Gate of Infinity uses similar wording to Veil of Darkness, and Warpflame is similar to Hunters from Hyperspace.

The thread never came to a full conclusion did it? I see 50% saying yes and quoting why, and 50% saying no and quoting why

The conclusion I drew was that simply using the veil did not send the unit back into reserve so the rule could not be used again....

unless...

You purposely mishap them and get a good roll sending them back into reserve, in which case when they come back you can use the rule again.

Rule interactions are sometimes ambiguous in their conclusion - if they COULD go both ways, then a discussion like that can't come to a full conclusion.

If you're trying to decide what the rules actually do, then look through the extensive discussion in that thread and come to your own conclusion on which interpretation is the best (for whatever reason - that it more accurately tracks the rule text, that it makes more internal or external sense, that it follow more closely what seems to be the writer's intent, etc.).

But IF the rules are actually ambiguous, the General Discussion forum is not going to be any better equipped to come to a "full conclusion" than YMDC, and in fact is probably far less equipped to do so.

If, instead of the above, you're looking to find out how players who have had this rules interaction in play have played in before (to get a sense of whether your preferred/planned rules interaction will fly in a random pickup game), the General Discussion forum might be a place to ask.
