Maybe there is something wrong with my screen, but the "White" Scars seem to be blue..

Unfortunately for me, I was checking this out mostly because I wanted to see a White Scars army to get some painting and conversion ideas for my own.

It would seem like the 2 of ye had a good game.

My comment is towards the Necron playet.

I love The Retribution Phanlax it is a formation of beauty. It is prettty cheesy though as warriors and scarabs come back for free.

I would recommend for the Necron player to run a full unit of 9 scarabs if using that formation. NO ONE WANTS TO BE HOT WITH 9 WAVES OF SCARABS EVERYTIME THEY DIE. Additionally, they are great for holding up units from destroying more important units and for stopping vechiles before they can do damage. You might lose some units but hey once they are gone they come back for free.

With the warriors, keep them seperate to the HQ and just have them as a marching gun line. Even if they die you can bring them back and use them as a marching gun line etc. They will be great for getting objectives and due to rapid-fire your opponents wouldnt want to be that close (unless planning a charge) otherwise they might lose their units just as your units came back.

Orikan is great in unit of lynch guard with Swords&Shields as it gives them 3+/3++. You can also put the Overlors from the R.Phalanx into this unit as well to make him survive longer. Saff of light, Nightmare Shroud, phase shifter, res orb. With these your Olord is 2+/4++ for saves which is good, BUT! With Orikan you get to re-roll saving throws of 1 so basically your Olord should never die meaning you will always be spawning new units of warriors or scarabas!!! Just look out sir and have the lychguard take the hit on a 3++ which is more survivable. 4+ RP Help a lot

Also. Don't doubt the Tomb Blades. They are Immortals on steroids and speed. Move 12" basic and if they dont shoot they can move another 12" so in one turn they can move 24" which is great for get objects any time during your turn. Also, particle beamers are the best weapon to take. Strength 6, blast and because the Tomb Blades are TWL you can re-roll if you miss. Does a good bit of damage. Also 3 units of 3 can get 3 different objects, gang up into 9 and do 9 strength 9 blast which does massive damge or get line breaker and objects. Very versitile. Highly recommend.

Overall good battle report. Keep it up.
