I have been wondering, what happened to Lord Castellan Creed after Cadia was destoyed? Is he dead, or is he somehow still alive and ready to appear with a Legion of Titans and Baneblades out from behind an empty Bolt Shell during a battle between Abaddon and the Imperium?

Highly likely he's stuck in Trazyn's collection now. The being/person at the end isn't called out by name, but it's about 100% him.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Creed is stuck in Trazyn's collection, but he will probably escape.
I like to think he challenges Trazyn to a game of Paradox-Billiards-Vostroyan-Roulette-Forth Dimensional-Hypercube-Chess-Strip poker. If he wins he is free to go. Trazyn loses and demands a rematch. If Creed loses he stays, if he wins he is free and gets to take an item or person out of Trazyn collection with him.

I'm convinced they pokeballed him simply because 8th edition is gonna jump ahead 50-100 years or so, and while thats normally minor for 40k, for a human char it's problematic

What exactly is the average natural human lifespan in the Warhammer 40k universe? You how in real life people are getting older then a 100 years ago so what would the prognosis be in 40k, if GW actualy incorperated this in the fluff at all. (Probably not.)

There are actually active characters who are over one hundred years old and still looking around forty/fifty due to various rejuvenating treatments (though obviously only influential/rich people can get them) and augmentations that do exist within the setting.

Knowing Creed he was anticipating being put in Trazyns Collection and has placed several scouting warhound titans behind a few small piles of ancient clutter. Trazyn would not notice the titans as they were so well hidden behind the small amounts of clutter, it would be as if they had been placed there by a tactical geniu-

Depends on how important they are because of access to rejuvinate treatments, bionics etc. I'd say about 300-400 maximum.

Or Alpharius.
