So this is my first attempt at getting my head round the new formation style list rules. I think I've understood how it works for late war lists but do say if I've got it wrong. I've written it up here with the Command teams for the gun sections and all the observers but i know i only need one observer and no command teams for the guns / mortars. The lists used are from Bridge by Bridge I'm wondering weather pioneers are worth the points since they now only give you a better tank assault value (Everyone gets to play pioneer in V4).

Looks like an interesting list. I actually prefer the new list building mechanic in V4 over V3. It certainly encourages you to take combat and weapons platoons over support platoons.

I'm torn about the reserves rules, they're clunky but at least lists aren't forced to take even numbers of platoons. What would you put in reserve in this list?

Depends on the enemy and if i get to use ambush really. But probably most of the Heavy Tank-hunter Company. StuG G are pretty fast and the Jagdpanthers can be horrible Ambush's with there 88's.

I'm not sure you need the pioneers in this list., you have a TON of AT with the tanks and fausts.

From experience, those Jagdpanthers are great in a shoot out but horrible in defending or assaulting objectives so be mindful of how you use them or you're going to curse yourself out for throwing 235 points down the drain.

Great choice on the BbB book. I play it to and there's a ton of fun lists in there to mess around with.

I feel the need, the need for speed.

I didn't realize till i read the rule book for the third time that pioneers basically are redundant as they only give you tank assault 4. Also realized i didn't pay for the panzerfausts in my Company HQ. so swapped the pioneers for three Panzerfausts. And swapped the Mortars from Normal to Fallschirmjager (Erastz) ones.
