Just wanted confirmation, I'm sure the answer is somewhere out there but I can't find it.

With hatred you can reroll failed misses in the 'first round' of 'each close combat'

So if you charge a unit with hatred into and ongoing combat it is that unit's first round of combat but not the first round of that ongoing combat. So do they or do they not get hatred. And the FAQ doesn't address this, so if you have an answer could you show me where you got the answer

RAW may have a degree of ambiguity, but I believe RAI should be more or less straightforward. The first time a model with Hatred swings in a given combat, they'll get their reroll. They won't get their reroll again until combat is ended somehow, be it someone failed morale, Sweeping Advance, Our Weapons are Useless, or entirely eliminating the opposing unit(s). This will mean there should be a consolidation or fall back movement before you get to use Hatred again.

The only ones that ge to re-roll all the time cause of hatred is the black legion (Endless hatred)
