I can't seem to find any conversions of the new Blood Bowl Orcs into 40k Orcs. Has anyone seen any nice conversions? It looks like they would make ideal Nobs.
Now that the Orc team is supposed to be available soon to be bought separately, I thought I might pick up a box for 40k.

Really, no one has done this yet?! Or at least, posted about it on the web...

It's possibly because the proportions are quite different to the 40K Ork range. In particular, the heads are a lot smaller.

Interesting, I didn't realize that. A head swap for 40k Nob heads might be in order then.

The way the Blood Bowl orcs are constructed would make it quite difficult, as well. They're all monopose figures made of three largish chunks. The heads, arms, etc aren't separate, so any converting would involve a fair bit of chopping and green stuffing.

Good luck with it though - I'd be interested to see how it turned out.

I've been looking at the new Human Ogre model for a potential Warboss conversion, his clothes look very similar so I think it would just be a matter of re-sulpting the head.

Dunno how his scale matches up with other Warbosses (Warbeese?) arms though, guess I will have to try is and see.

That's a great idea Kroem. Change the head, add a power klaw and you're nearly done. I wonder though would the size be closer to a nob than a warboss. Then again, the old warboss models are small as well, so it would probably be ok.

Is he really that small? Difficult to tell from the pictures, I will buy one the next time I go to my local Gamesworkshop shop and report back.

I've still got one of those squig hand warboss models lying around, and a half assembled metal Ghazgull, so maybe at some point I will have enough pieces to make my own custom leader for my Snakebites!

Well I got the Orc Gouged Eye box, and I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the size. I thought they would be bigger.
I guess it makes sense that they are the size of Ork Boyz, I just thought from the photos that they would be closer to Nob size.

The Black Orc blockers are pretty close to Nob size, but the rest are more suitable for Boyz, perhaps in 'eavy armor.
