This is a bit of an odd scenario so let me explain:
I am submitting 4 different lists at once, all different factions hence different threads. These are 1250 lists for a doubles tournament with RANDOM PARTNERS. I think that part alone is pretty cool, but there is another twist to go along with it.
All players are encouraged (not required) to bring and turn in lists for one “Good Guys” and one “Bad Guys” army. Once your partner is determined, decide between you which side you will be representing or which combination will work the best, but you both have to use one of the two lists you initially provided. So my example is that I have a Space Marine and an Eldar list for good guys, and a Chaos and Orks list for bad guys. I am looking for advice on all so I can determine which will be better for this type of format. I just want to be in a position that no matter which side I play for, I’m bringing my A-Game.
Alright enough background, on to the list/s.
Next up is Eldar. This one I also have not field tested, but just looking at the stats of what I fit in here, I think this one has the potential to be pretty nasty.
1250 Eldar FINAL
****Aspect Host****
Host 1
• Fire Dragons: (7) Exarch, Firepike. Wave Serpent, Twin Bright Lance, Shuriken Cannon, Holo Field – 319
• Warp Spiders: (7) Exarch, Spinneret Rifle – 158
• Warp Spiders: (7) Exarch, Twin Death Spinner – 148
Host 2
• Fire Dragons: (7) Exarch, Firepike. Wave Serpent, Twin Bright Lance, Shuriken Cannon, Holo Field – 319
• Warp Spiders: (7) Exarch, Spinneret Rifle – 158
• Warp Spiders: (7) Exarch, Twin Death Spinner – 148
This one is a little silly. Pretty much nothing in the sense of variety, but every single model here is a threat to nearly every model I would expect to see in a 1250 environment. Warp spiders in my experience can be even more obnoxious than Tau Crisis Teams, and 2 squads of ALL Meltagunners in rage inducing transports with lances will make big holes in big things, or make little things turn into red paste. Oh, and the whole army is BS 5 or better….
As always, ANY and ALL feedback is welcome. Thank you for looking!
