Hello!

I've been trying to get my friends to join me in playing some D&D for the first time with me. I bought the Stater Set and we haven't played yet since we're trying to learn where to start.

I know that the official site has the set of basic rules for free to download, but I was wondering if those rules already exist in a physical format and in what book they belong to. I don't own a tablet, so having the download isn't as optimal at the moment. And I always like having physical copies of the books I read and use.

I know free is FREE, but I was just curious about the physical book in case I can't secure a proper and portable digital reader.

Thank you to everyone in advance!

I believe what is available online for free exists in physical format in the starter set you bought.

Huh. Had no idea a large part of the rulebook was available online.

Anyway, something I do, is print out some of the more relevant points, or things I will have to refer to frequently. If you save the file to your computer, you can print a range of pages for the topic you want.
(I know this must sound like obvious advice, but never hurts to go over it).
