In my club; I have noticed that getting Infinity games in is harder while campaigns are running for KoW and X-Wing. It appears that (broadly) people who are keen on infinity are fed up (or not interested) with GW, or have it far down the list of preferences. Ditto for KoW and maybe X-Wing.

I'm wondering if this manifests elsewhere, because I'm curious and It should be useful when planning events with multiple systems.

Bushido, Mordheim, Blood Bowl and Space Hulk. Looking to start playing Necromunda. None of the options you listed. Have zero interest in ever playing 40k again, and AoS is a joke.

I play some KoW and some 9th age in addition to infinity.

I stopped playing 40k when 6th ed dropped and will not go back to it.
AoS holds no appeal to me, neither do malifaux, lotr or WM/H and x-wing is too simple a game for me (seems a lot of the players around me grew up with the x-wing/tie fighter computer games and this pretty much explains why they play. I didn't.)

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Another option you forgot is "nothing else".

But only if boardgames (e.g. Settlers of Catan, Dead of Winter etc.) don't count

Malifaux. I got into it for the same reason I got into Infinity. Skirmish game, small amount of models, great aesthetics. A bonus was how theme heavy it is, I love running theme heavy crews.

I want to try boardgames, and have a couple of miniature heavy boardgames for the group to try (Imperial Assault and Zombicide) but so far no interest beyond myself.

While I swore off army scale games, I bought into The Other Side. I like the aesthetics, and the rules look snappy and streamlined which is nice. Model count is about Warmachine sized, and lets face it, I've got way more models for Malifaux and Infinity already so model count isn't a deterrent.

Lord of the rings for sure, malifaux, Wrath of kings, confrontation, and some other actual skirmish games.

I play at home with a group of friends, we all have a rather ridiculous amount of other games we pull out on occasion. X-Wing, Firestorm Armada, and Dystopian Wars are probably about as close as we get to other "regular" games, but they're hardly the entirety of them either. We also pull out Ogre, Classic Battletech, 40k 2nd Edition, Deadzone, Necromunda (which probably means will give SW:A a spin since we have loads of 40k stuff still), Mordheim, Warzone, Heavy Gear, Epic (Armageddon is my preferred flavour here), MERCS, Warmahordes, Full Thrust, and probably a few I'm just straight up forgetting.

Currently the gang is showing interest in Malifaux as well, though only a couple of players have bought in (and one of them did it way back in 1st Edition).

At this point in time, GW's market share has dipped since their heyday and tabletop gaming has seen a general Renaissance in terms of variety and diversity these days. I think the "we only play X" demographic may start to get thin on the ground, especially with the popular rise of skirmish scale games letting folks collect multiple games at a reasonable cost.

That said, when the group does Infinity we tend to get in to it for a few months at a time rather than shuffling around. Sadly, Infinity is complex enough that it takes time to get back in to the swing of things and really enjoy it after you're out for a while, not a great game to mix with a short attention span and hopping to new games every other week.

Ticked the Warmachine box but it's been ages since I last played it really. 40k and WHFB too although Warmachine is more fun.
I like the occasional Necromunda/Mordheim game too.
Most often it's board games if not Infinity though. Twilight Imperium is a game night favorite. I love it.

I play Shadow War, Warhammer Fantasy and Bolt Action these days. I did vote for 40K as I did play it, but in all honesty I havent had a game in over 2 months now and the rules and balance are terrible. As for Warmahordes, I used to play it and loved it. But the recent update basically nerfed my army and invalidated a lot of my stuff and I just could not be bothered buying back in.
I also like the concept with Kings of War, and my fantasy models work well with it.

I dont play AoS, that gak is terrible in concept and execution (not to mention "SIGMURENS HURRR")

Free from GW's tyranny and the hobby is looking better for it

Play is such a strong word. I tend to collect and paint more than I play. Too much "play it painted" in me, I think.

But I would also add Battletech to that score, with Dropzone and Firestorm to the kits I have, but not yet played. Of course, I don't have Infinity, yet, either.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

Some Malifaux and beaucoup boardgames these days, and D&D. It's a golden age for gaming. My friends and I will try to play then all. (we are done with the large model count TTG's though. Not interested in "lifestyle" games anymore.)

A bunch of options you don't have up there. I actively play Dark Age, Dropfleet Commander and Dropzone Commander.
