Mechanicus Avitarii - Skitarii Fast Attack (85 pts)

Avitarii were once the Mechanicus' primary aerial-strike mechanism. Soaring above the battlefield on wings of humming anti-grav, their cog-shaped gravitic stabilizer fins glowing with corposant, Avitarii formed the image of the Omnissiah as Clockwork Angel to the forces on the ground.

Avitarii are armed with baroque galvanic-repeaters and the occasional neutron-lancer, to carry out their tasks with. From above, the hovering cyborgs strafe enemy infantry squads with searing electrified bullets, or blast apart tanks with beams of eye-searing light. However, due to the difficulty of producing their distinctive gravitic propulsor-pack, Avitarii are a rarity amongst Mechanicus forces in the current era.

Avitarii Warplate- A modified version of the armor worn by Sicarian Ruststalkers, containing a lightweight power-field generator, gravitic-propulsor pack, and improved aerodynamics. (Confers a 4+ armor save and 6++ Invulnerable Save)

Galvanic Repeater - A rapid-fire weapon that fires streams of electrified heat-seeking servitor-bullets.

Upgrades:
•The Avitarius Alpha may exchange his galvanic repeater for weapons from the Skitarii Close Combat Weapons and Skitarii Ranged Weapons lists.

•The Avitarius Alpha may take items from the Skitarii Special Issue Wargear list.

•The Avitarius Alpha may take items from the Relics of Mars list.

•Up to two Avitarii if the squad numbers less than 10 models, or 3 if the squad numbers 10 models, may replace their Galvanic Repeaters with Neutron Lancers (+25 pts per upgrade)

•The Avitarius Alpha may take Mindscrambler Grenades for +5 points.

•The squad may add up to seven additional members, for +25 points per model.


Mechanicus Logitarii Purgators - Skitarii Elites (120 pts)

Logitarii are the millitant wing of the Adeptus Mechanicus' Ordo Psykanica. They are created from cybernetically enhanced blanks, augmented and upgraded for maximum psyker-killing potential. Their natural psychic dampening powers are upgraded by their modified Infiltrator helms, which, instead of spreading the neurostatic aura used by the Skitarii, spread fear and psychic numbness to all in range.

There are many types of Logitarii, all upgraded to carry different weapons and systems. The most commonly seen type is the Logitarii Purgator, equipped with a baleful Radium Dispersor, which spreads lethal radiation and radium-aerosol, salting the earth and destroying organic tissue utterly.

Psychic Interdiction Aura - (This unit may not be targeted or affected by psychic powers of any kind. Any psykers within 6" of a model with this special rule do not generate warp charge, and may only cast powers on a 6+. In addition, all psykers within 6" of a model with this special rule have -3 leadership, -1 BS, -1 WS, and -1 Initiative. If a model with this special rule moves within 6" of a unit which is affected by a psychic blessing or malediction of any kind, the power is immediately nullified and effects of the power removed from the unit.)
