Just finished my Inquisitor for Shadow War. Here's to hoping that half the crap he's carrying is legal by time the Inquisitional list actually drops. As for Tumnal himself, he's enormous.

Now I just need to start and finish all his friends. I also need to get a way better phone.

Now with new pictures, including a size comparison:

Super nice.

Would be cool to see an unpainted picture if you have one.

I'm afraid not.

If it helps to imagine things, the moustache, shoulder pelt, lapels, rope, and upper backside of his coat (not visible) were done in greenstuff. Additionally, the bottom section of his coat used the cape from the Custodes set with the insignia carved off and smoothed over with more greenstuff.

The arms and legs are Custodes, the head and hammer head come from the Grey Knight Terminators box, and the front torso plate is from the Admech Kataphron heavy set, with the backside of a standard space marine torso on the other side (not visible at all, mostly just there for structure). A few other odds and ends thrown in for good measure (including some Inquisitorial insignias from Inq54) A lot of knifework was involved to make everything fit.

Looks great, especially the fur across the shoulders

Fantastic conversion. Really looks the part. The only pieces which don't work for me are the circular plates on the hammer (looks awkward to try to use that hammer with them there).

Tons of character - love the head you chose to use.

Unfortunately, the Custodes box is pretty crap for hand options, and while the actual pose of that hand was pretty much exactly what I needed, there's no real way to remove those plates without ruining the shaft and the hand. I was also running low on power-armoured hand options myself.

this is awesome. Could we get more pics from more angles?

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

Whoah! He's huge. Pretty sweet.

What's his story? Is he genetically enhanced in some way or just naturally a really big guy?

Confused why he's so huge, but those are come really nice details, and I appreciate the color scheme.

He's huge because finding power armour parts that have decent proportions while also being smaller than a space marine is ridiculously hard to impossible, and the Custodian parts have surprisingly good proportions despite their size.

Fluff wise, he's not supposed to be that big (he's supposed to be a big guy, but well within the normal bounds for an unmodified human), he's just got a big model because that was the most practical way to model his armour.

Nothing wrong with that at all IMHO. Most table top gaming is abstractions anyway. For example fitting 10-12 guys in any of the vehicles available. A couple extra MM never hurt anyone, especially when it enhances the ability to see the character you have created. But, some people are picky about scale
