Hi all,
I've been lurking a couple of weeks. Mostly a modelling and painting guy. Been away from miniatures for a long time but started building Gundam kits a few years back, and when I saw the Battle For Vedros set in Game after Christmas for £25 I thought I'd dip my toe back in the water. Last was into the GW hobby at the start of 3rd Edition. I think the last book I bought was the Eye Of Terror Codex. Been reading some of the Horus Heresy novels, and slowly planning getting back into things, but a bit thrown by the huge number of rulebooks available for 40k at the moment, and wary of the change to 8th edition. Bought the Kill Team box set for the rules and affordable models. Have painted my Vedros Orks up as Deathskulls and done half of the Kill Team marines (with a DA customisation sprue) as a small group of "beakie" Fallen. Really enjoying the painting again. Lots of fun stuff on this forum, thanks for all the interesting reads.

Take a look at what I've been painting and modelling: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/725222.page

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
