Hi,

I've just finished painting up a wraithlord in my craftworld colours. Not 100% happy with how the sword turned out and i'm plannig on doing some free hand or transfers on the larger armour panels and crotch cloth.

I would love any comments or critisism any of you may have that would help me improve.

Thanks

Paull

You need to up the contrast on the red - sharper/stronger edge highlights and a little blending up will help make the model pop.

That's looking really good.
Nice work on the sword, whatever you think of it

Have you highlighted the edges of the red parts? They look a bit flat, but that might be the lighting or the photo.
The head and pipes look really clean and even.
The gems seem to work.

Thanks for the tips and comments

Yeah i have edge highlighted the red but it's really thin, just used the edge of my brush. I maybe need to paint more of an exaggerated line rather than the edge of the brush for the highlights to pop out.

They are slightly more clearer when you see the model in person.

That's what I had with a lot of mine. Unless it is obvious, highlighting can get lost with certain colours.
If it looks OK in person, don't change it. I've ruined a couple of jobs trying to make it look good in photos.
